TYPES OF STRAW AVAILABLE:

 

REGULAR (SLASH) PINE STRAW

PRODUCTION: Straw is gathered from the improved pine tree.  The sticks and cones are picked up by hand before the straw is hand raked.  The straw is hand fed into a baler and hand tied which produces a cleaner and better quality bale. 

TYPE: Our regular bales are tied with string that is 14" X 14" X 28". Our minimum order is 700 bales.  Each bale covers approximately 60 square feet.

LONG LEAF PINE STRAW

PRODUCTION: Straw is gathered from the long leaf pine tree.  The sticks and cones are picked up by hand before the straw is hand raked.  The straw is hand fed into a baler and hand tied which produces a cleaner and better quality bale. 

TYPE: Our regular bales are tied with string that is 14" X 14" X 28". Our minimum order is 700 bales.  Each bale covers approximately 60 square feet.

WHEAT STRAW

PRODUCTION: The wheat straw is gathered from regular wheat fields by local farmers. The bales are machine baled for more compact bales. 

TYPES: The bales, tied with string, are 14" X 18" X 38".  The minimum order is 700 bales.
